About Paragon CRT
On June 13, 2002 Paragon
Vision Sciences received FDA market clearance
for Paragon CRT for overnight Corneal Refractive Therapy. One of the
conditions for approval is a program of certification training. The approval
provides clearance from Paragon and certified practitioners to offer
the lenses
and prescribing system for treatment of all ages, including adolescents
and
teens.
What makes Paragon CRT different?
Corneal Refractive Therapy is not the orthokeratology of old. The Paragon
CRT lens is the result of years of ongoing research into the science
of
overnight corneal reshaping with GP lenses. This has been made possible
by five new technologies:
