Advances in multicurve GP lenses specifically designed to facilitate the safe redistribution of corneal tissue while sleeping.
Advances in computer controlled lathing technology, allowing complex lens designs to be consistently fabricated and, in the case of Paragon CRT, with seamless, polishless surfaces and on a tolerance level measured in microns.
The development of stable, wettable, high Dk materials that can be safely worn overnight.
Advances in computerized corneal mapping techniques providing more precise fitting and follow-up patients.
A greater understanding of how corneal reshaping works and the tissues involved in the process.
About Paragon CRT

On June 13, 2002 Paragon Vision Sciences received FDA market clearance for Paragon CRT for overnight Corneal Refractive Therapy. One of the conditions for approval is a program of certification training. The approval provides clearance from Paragon and certified practitioners to offer the lenses and prescribing system for treatment of all ages, including adolescents and teens.

What makes Paragon CRT different?
Corneal Refractive Therapy is not the orthokeratology of old. The Paragon CRT lens is the result of years of ongoing research into the science of overnight corneal reshaping with GP lenses. This has been made possible by five new technologies:
